Announcements

Announcements are your organization’s shared feed. HR and admins post updates there, and everyone in the organization sees the same feed — newest first, with pinned posts kept at the top.

Beyond reading, a post can carry attachments, a poll, reactions, and comments, and it can ask you to confirm you’ve read it.

Note

Every announcement goes to your whole organization. There is no audience targeting, no scheduled publish time, and no expiry — a post goes live the moment it’s published and stays in the feed until it’s deleted.

Who can do what

• Everyone in the organization can read posts, react, comment, vote in polls, and acknowledge posts that ask for it.
• Posters (people with the announcement create permission) can write and publish new announcements, including polls and attachments.
• Moderators (people with the moderate permission) can pin and unpin any post, edit, delete and restore posts, review comments, see who acknowledged a post, and close or re-open polls.

An announcement’s author can also edit or delete their own post, even without the moderate permission.
